How to add event field entries

Users with the Manager role can manage dictionary entries.

  1. Navigate to ADMIN > Dictionary, and then click the EVENT FIELDS tab.

  2. Click ADD ITEM.

  3. In the EVENT FIELD dialog, edit or add an entry.

    Field Description
    Field name

    The name of an event field.

    Field label A short name for an event field. If provided, this name is used in place of the event field name.
    Description A longer, free-form statement about an event field.
    Tags One or more arbitrary terms to associate with a metric. The tags namespace is shared among all dictionary types.

  4. Click SAVE.
