Streaming data
Zenoss supports streaming data clients for sending model, metric, and event data directly to Zenoss Cloud, without using a Collection Zone. A streaming data client is any application that uses data receiver resources to update Zenoss Cloud. An update can be a single transaction or a regular flow of data.
Zenoss provides purpose-built clients for streaming data to Zenoss Cloud:
- The Zenoss agent for Kubernetes
- A StatsD agent, the Zenoss backend for the Atlassian gostatsd server
In addition, you can create customized applications from scratch with the data receiver resources or with Zenoss libraries for exporting OpenCensus data.
