New features

The Cisco UCS ZenPack now includes an interactive topology view, bandwidth usage views, an enhanced dependency view, new portlets, and new reports.

A unique feature of this ZenPack is aggregation pools, a Zenoss innovation that helps you understand how the UCS unified fabric is working. Aggregation pools are similar to port channels:

  • A port channel is a collection of ports on a single switch.
  • An aggregation pool consolidates information across fabric interconnects to get total usage across switches.

Aggregation pool components illuminate actual usage. For more information, refer to the Cisco UCS ZenPack documentation.

Bug fixes

  • Critical events on /Status no longer show devices as down unless the event is on /Status/Ping.
  • Hyperlinks in event messages now work as expected.
  • In dashboard and notification popups, the controls for increasing and decreasing numerical values no longer disappear.
  • The Zope health check no longer fails to restart Zope when a deadlock occurs.
  • Modeling no longer is blocked when requests for device status from the event processor do not return normally.
  • In the event transform display, the scroll bar is now displayed for large transforms.
