How to edit a dictionary entry

You can edit the dictionary entry of any metric displayed on a dashboard, public or private.

1. Identify a tile that includes the metric to edit.

2. In the tile header, click the vertical ellipsis (⋮).

   

3. On the menu, click Metric Dictionary.

   • If the tile does not include metrics, the menu does not include the option.

     

   • If the tile includes multiple metrics, the menu option includes a selector.

     

4. Use the metric dictionary editor to edit the entry.
